Court Activities Criminal Division

Criminal Docket Call (Jury and Non-jury)
The Court provides Docket call hearings to allow the parties to be heard as to the status of the respective cases. Based on case status and the various conflicts that may exist, the Court sets cases for specific dates.

As a matter of policy, the Court will entertain pleas in any case at both jury and non-jury docket call events. Those cases may then be disposed at that time. For all other cases, a date will be set for those trials and subpoenas will be issued. Given the above policy, the court REQUIRES both the defendant and counsel to be present at all docket call events.
