Recovery Place of Savannah - Chatham County DUI Court
OVERVIEW... The 52 week treatment program is a level one program; however, individuals who have a greater need for treatment will be referred to one of our many programs or a long-term residential program, if needed. Recovery Place, Inc. offers a level 2.1 Intensive Outpatient Program, a Family Program, Survivor's Week, which is an intense week of treatment focusing on childhood trauma and other abuse, Professionals Resource Program, Men's Residential program which provides a sober living environment, Women's Residential that provides a sober living environment to women and their children, and a counseling Center. The Counseling Center offers a variety of services, including: family counseling, marriage/relationship counseling, eating disorders, sexual disorders, and gambling addictions. Another referral source is the Savannah Area Behavioral Health Collaborative (SABHC), an affiliate program. SAHBC provides detoxification services, ambulatory and inpatient, a Day Treatment Program, a morning and evening Intensive Outpatient Program, and case management services to address housing issues, employment, etc.
Alocohol & Drug Screen Routine... Everyone in the program is assigned a color. Each weekday, every participant must call SABHC or the Drug Screen Hotline to verify the colors selected for that day. Each participant whose assigned color is called must report to Recovery Place that day to be screened. Any participant who does not report for the screen will receive an automatic sanction which includes a period of mandatory jail time.
