Clerk of Court Fines Collection

What can I do if I cannot make a fine or restitution payment in-full on the day it is ordered in court?

Fines and restitution ordered in State Court are due on the day they are ordered. However, under certain circumstances, the Clerk may allow large fines or restitution to be paid over time according to a payment plan agreed to between the defendant and the Court. That plan is a binding legal agreement between the defendant and the Court. It clearly outlines the defendant’s total obligation and specifies monthly payments required and the dates those payments are due. There is a $20.00 service fee for setting up and managing the State Court payment plan. That fee is included in the total obligation to the Court. Partial payments are NOT ALLOWED for posting bonds.
